MAS insurance has released a statement last week revealing a third-party supplier of after-hours call-center services for the company “has recently notified us of a breach of their systems through a cyber-attack”.

The New Zealand government’s cyber security agency has recorded a “massive” jump in online fraud, with scammers draining nearly $9 million from unsuspecting victims in just three months.
