10th Cyber Defence Summit

Critical sectors in Qatar – including but not limited to finance and energy – have increased their dependency on technology and state-of-the-art ICT solutions to deliver high-quality, efficient, and effective services. Qatar’s Advisory (Shura) Council has approved the new data privacy law, requiring companies to increase their level of data security and protection against cyber threats. Failure to do so could result in hefty fines of up to 1.37 million USD (5 million QAR). Naseba’s 11th Cyber Defence Summit will address the importance of protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive information, help companies procure cyber security solutions and services, and create further awareness of cyber security among the youth of Qatar.
