Computerworld Security Summit Philippines 2017
Under the plan, DICT aims to assure the continuous operation of the country's critical infostructures, public and military networks. We will implement cyber resiliency measures to improve the ability to respond to cyber threats before, during, and after the attacks. It also plans to implement a public awareness campaign on the cybersecurity measures. As the scale and intricacy of cybercrime is increasing, businesses need to rethink their security strategies. To fight and defend against the unknown, we need to focus on: 1) Next-generation security built around automated and actionable intelligence that recognises threats and protects the network and its users. 2) Software-Defined Secure Networks (SDSN) that enable an end-to-end framework that secures the entire network, both physical and virtual.
