Instagram Hack
Hundreds of Instagram users were reportedly locked out of their accounts after users discovered they were unable to login. In many cases, the emails connected to the accounts were replaced with ".ru" domains. Users' profile pictures and handles were also reportedly altered. Instagram users are advised to use strong and unique passwords to safeguard their attacks. 

Brazilian election cyberthreat
Brazil's upcoming elections have reportedly sparked a spree of cyberattacks orchestrated by local hacktivists. Brazilian hacktivist groups often respond to national political issues by defacing government websites and disclosing the personal information of politicians.  With security experts having identified new potential exploits ahead of the elections, there is now growing concern about the security of government and private organizations.
