  • Upon discovery, the third-party vendor, Pearson Clinical Assessment notified the school district about the incident.
  • It also hired independent cybersecurity experts and conducted an extensive investigation of the incident.
  • The investigation revealed that there has been no misuse of any student information.
  • Pearson Clinical Assessment is offering free credit-monitoring services to all impacted students.

“Beginning immediately after discovery, Pearson launched an incident review by outside cybersecurity experts who determined the nature and extent of any data potentially affected. Pearson has received no evidence to indicate that there has been any misuse of (student) information,” Danielle Bellizzi, Assistant School Superintendent said in an email notification, myrecordjournal reported.
