On April 27, 2019, an unauthorized third-party gained access to Wyzant’s database, which led to the compromise of users’ personal information.
What information was compromised?
The compromised information includes names, email addresses, zip codes, and Facebook profile images. However, no passwords or payment details were compromised.
What are the preventive measures taken?
“Wyzant has implemented additional security measures designed to prevent a recurrence of such an attack and to protect the privacy of our valued customers. This includes reviewing our security processes and protocols,” the data breach notice read.
