ZTE launches its first cyber security lab in China (Companies to Watch)

In the wake of the establishment of the Nanjing cyber security lab, the company also plans to launch cyber security labs in Italy and Belgium, respectively, in the near future. In keeping with its vision of "security in DNA; trust through transparency", ZTE is committed to providing customers with end-to-end security products and services, and integrating security considerations and controls with every aspect of a product's life cycle. The cyber security lab aims to provide global customers, regulators and other stakeholders with security assessment and audit services, such as source code review on ZTE products, including 4G and 5G; security design audit; procedural document review; black box testing and penetration testing. "The security lab is an open and co-operative platform for the industry," said Zhong Hong, ZTE's chief security officer, speaking at the launch of the Nanjing lab.
