This National Technology Security Coalition CISO Policy Roundtable brings together senior technology and security executives in an exclusive setting to talk about trends in national cybersecurity policy.

How Automation and Human Intelligence Collectively Enable Faster, Smarter, and Actionable Threat Intelligence

Threat intelligence has emerged as an “enabler” of context-driven security operations. As organizations recalibrate their security strategies to play the “infinite game” of security in the fast-paced threat landscape, they need to redefine the manner in which they consume, integrate, and share threat intelligence.

Automation has solved several of the complexities of threat intelligence and enabled organizations to broaden their scope of threat intelligence operations. However, the continuous change in the rules of engagement by bad actors has created a persistent challenge of a large volume of low-confidence, unactionable threat intelligence.

The need for balance between humans and machines becomes paramount when it comes to unconventional scenarios such as a global COVID-19 pandemic. In a scenario like this, organizations need to rely on human intelligence that is shaped from experiences on the cyber battlefront, along with a touch of creativity and judgment in the moment.

Register for this roundtable discussion to learn how organizations can fuse end-to-end automation with strategic human intelligence and insight to more effectively anticipate, prevent, and respond to advanced threats without being bogged down by the challenges of small security teams or budgets.

Join Steven Silberstein, CEO at the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), security expert Dr. Herbert Hugh Thompson, and Anuj Goel, CEO and Co-founder of Cyware, for a virtual "fireside chat" as they discuss the latest advances in threat intelligence sharing and answer attendees' questions. Patrick Gaul, Executive Director of the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC), will serve as the host and moderate the conversation.
