CISO MAG Awards is an initiative by the EC-Council, the world’s leading cybersecurity certification body. It recognizes and celebrates the excellence, innovation, commitment, leadership, and sound business strategies, of distinguished professionals and organizations in the cybersecurity domain.
As a validation of our efforts, we are excited to announce that Cyware Threat Intelligence eXchange (CTIX) has bagged the Best Cybersecurity Solution of the Year Award at the CISO MAG Awards 2019 ceremony held on March 26, 2019. The nominations for the awards were reviewed by an esteemed jury panel consisting of thought leaders and industry veterans from the cybersecurity space.
In naming CTIX as the year’s Best Cybersecurity Solution, CISO MAG cited its powerful feature set which enables automated threat Intel ingestion & normalization, Intel enrichment, and Intel dissemination. The Hub and Spoke Model used by CTIX for Intel sharing received wide acclaim from all the experts on the panel for allowing clients to build trusted networks with peers, subsidiaries, vendors, threat intel providers, ISACs, and government bodies like CERT, and more.
CISO MAG emphasized on how Rule-Based Advanced Alerting and Notifications in CTIX helps organizations proactively discover cyber threats to reduce Meantime to Detection and Resolution.
The jury panel lauded the fact that CTIX supports all different threat intel data formats including STIX 2.0, STIX 1.X, MISP, XML, CSV, JSON, YARA, OpenIOC, ATT&CK, MAEC, IODEF and more.
The Custom ATT&CK Navigator Heatmap in CTIX which visualizes threat actors’ Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) was highly praised by the jury as an excellent approach to provide a comprehensive visualization of cyber threats.
Furthermore, CISO MAG also highlighted the role of CTIX in significantly enhancing the breadth of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) operations by fostering the collaboration among various private and public organizations.
